The Hoang Sa Summary Record consists of 200 pages and is organised into sections, including Hoang Sa belongs to Vietnam; State rule over Hoang Sa District; Hoang Sa and historical witnesses; and Da Nang dwellers’ feelings about Hoang Sa.
Especially, the publication contains historical documents and pieces of evidence on Vietnam’s sovereignty over the islands as well as documents and feelings of 24 witnesses, who used to live and worked on the islands during the 1950s and 1970s of the last century.
According to the Hoang Sa District People’s Committee, this is the most comprehensive and informative book about Hoang Sa with the details that help readers understand better about the geological features of the islands, the process of Vietnam’s defining sovereignty over the islands.
The book will be made public on January 9th at the Da Nang Museum.
