PANO – A defence and security training course for 100 officials, including leaders of departments, industries, agencies, companies, schools, districts and towns in Hanoi, was opened in Hanoi on September 11^th at Division 301, under the Hanoi Capital High Command by the Defence and Security Education Council of Hanoi.

Major-General Le Hung Manh, Political Commissar of the Hanoi Capital High Command, attended the opening ceremony.

At the ceremony, Nguyen Huu Lap, deputy head of the organising committee, said trainees will be provided with defence and security knowledge and skills to combine defence and security missions with other activities to develop the economy and to provide consultancy to executive committees and local authorities on carrying out socio-economic, defence and security missions effectively.

The Defence and Security Education Council instructed organisers to renew teaching and learning methods with more practical activities for participants to ensure the success of the course.
