Thuan An Festival 2012, “The Call of the Sea”, will take place from April 27^th to 29^th, under the theme “Returning to the sea”, in Thua Thien-Hue Province to welcome National Tourism Year of Northern Central Coastal Area - Hue 2012.

The program includes various cultural and tourism activities for the community, including sea football competition, a kite-flying festival, an artistic programs “Thuan An, Call of the Sea”, boat-racing, walking on rope a bridge and jumping on sand bags...

The Deputy-Chairman of Phu Vang District People’s Committee, Ho Viet Nhuan, said that “Thuan An, The Call of the Sea” program is held annually and becomes a famous trade branch for sea tourism and resorts of Thua Thien-Hue Province. It is expected that up to 300,000 tourists will visit Phu Vang per day this year.

Beside Thuan An beach, Phu Vang District is improving several other beautiful beaches, including Vinh An or Vinh Xuan or various seaside resorts such as Canh Duong, Vinh Thanh, Vinh Hien, Quang Cong, Quang Ngan, especially Lang Co Bay to attract more tourists in the coming time.

In addition to luxury resorts such as Lang Co Resort, Nirvana Spa & Resort, Huong Giang, Thanh Tam, many other large tourism projects are under construction, including Laguna Hue Resort, Chuoi Beach Resort, Lap An Lagoon Ecological Tourism Zone, offices complex, Thu Duc Lang Co Hotel and the Dream Palace to promote local tourism development.
