The Finland-flagged airline, Finnair on May 3 announced its network expansion to Vietnam by opening representative offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In Vietnam, Finnair is represented by its General Sales Agent – the East Sea Travel and Air Service Company.

Finnair cooperates with other airlines, such as Cathay Pacific, Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar, to carry passengers travelling from Vietnam via Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong to Finland and other destinations in Europe.

The expansion reflects the development of the airline in Asia, particularly in Southeast Asian markets.

Finnair operates routes linking 60 destinations in Europe and 11 destinations in Asia, using a fleet of more than 70 aircraft with an average age of 4-6 years.
