About 100 pictures and paintings made by 30 overseas Vietnamese students have gone on display at an exhibition entitled “Vision” being held at the Viet Arts Center in Hanoi from July 26th to 28th.
The exhibition, organised by Vietnamese overseas students, introduced to visitors 100 pieces including paintings and photos, characterising different views of the daily life of Hanoi’s street corners, student’s life and Vietnamese and international cultural features. The students are mainly from Hanoi so many pictures depict Hanoi people and nature, and especially, viewers can also find special images of Hanoi, such as an old couple on a bench, a painting of old Dong Xuan Market, a wonderful lotus lake or the Red River from the sky.
‘Vision’ with its message “More than you can see” expresses not only young Hanoians’ views of their hometown but also the love of overseas Vietnamese for the Capital City.
According to the organisers, the proceeds will be donated to a centre for disabled children in Bac Giang Province.
