Pham Ngoc Chu, a member of the Executive Board of Vietnam Businessmen’s Association in Hungary, is known for his enthusiasm for promoting Vietnamese products in Western countries.
Chu started his business with a small rented stall, selling clothes and groceries. His products sold soon attracted numerous customers. As a result, he decided to expand his business into another leased stall.
Despite the present state of his good business, Chu was aware that doing business along big streets is better than at small markets.
Chu sold different products, from clothes to luxury goods and food. His restaurant was one of the first Vietnamese restaurants offering Vietnamese food in Hungary.
“Nothing succeeds like success” as the saying goes, Chu, one more time, decided to open a chain of nine retail shops along the big streets, so that the high-quality Vietnamese products are available to more and more Westerners.
With his efforts, Chu has managed to stay afloat during economic recessions, contributing to marketing Vietnamese products in Western countries.
