PANO – Song Thu Conjugate Firm under the General Department of Defence Industry has just handed over a specialised ship FCS 5009 to its Mexican partner, NAVIERA Company.

On the morning of May 18^th in Da Nang City, the firm and the Dutch Group, Damen, held a hand-over ceremony.

Song Thu is one of defence firms that is dynamic in their production and business. Over the past years, alongside the fulfilment of its main task to build and repair naval vessels, it has boosted cooperation with foreign partners in technology to sign ship-building contracts with foreign clients.

Under the signed contracts, it will build 24 specialised boats for foreign clients across the world until 2015.

Recently, the shipbuilder has just invested in a new modern shipyard to meet an increasing demand for building ships of various kinds for domestic and foreign clients.

The quality of each of our outputs increases the firm’s prestige in shipbuilding in the world,” a leader of Song Thu Firm affirmed at the hand-over ceremony.
