PANO – A project, worth €2 million, to develop comprehensive social welfare in Vietnam, has been launched by Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, in association with German Organisation for Technical Cooperation (GTZ).

From February 2012 to August 2014, the project will provide technique assistance in improving quality of building and co-ordinating activities in terms of social welfare as well as focus on facilitating the reform of social assistance policies.

Groups at risk, including poor low-income people, the elderly, women and people in remote areas or disadvantaged people, will directly enjoy benefits from this project as well.
