Nearly 18,000 houses built for the poor

Nearly 18,000 houses have been built for the poor in the northern province of Vinh Phuc since 2000.
Most of the VND900 billion (US$43 million) budget was raised from the "Day for the Poor" campaign over the last 12 years, according to the campaign's Steering Committee.
Other funding came from the central Government and provincial budgets.
