Thua Thien-Hue launches Month of Workers

PANO – More than 1,500 people joined the launching of the Month of Workers organised by the Thua Thien-Hue Labour Federation on April 28th.

The event aimed to increase supervision of workers’ rights and interests and improve living and working conditions for Vietnamese workers in the national industrialisation and modernisation process in the spirit of the Resolution 20 of the Party Central Committee.

On this occasion, the organising panel presented some houses and gifts, worth over VND200million, to needy workers and their families.
