PANO – General Le Van Dung, Secretary of the Central Military Party Committee and Chairman of the Political General Department of the Vietnam People’s Army, on January 28^th paid a New Year visit to the Vietnamese Navy.

During the visit, Tran Thanh Huyen, Vice Admiral, Political Commissar and Secretary of the Navy Service’s Party Committee, briefed the Army’s leader on sea and island current status, combat readiness of the Service, and its preparation for the upcoming New Year Festival.

On behalf of the Central Military Party Committee and the Ministry of Defense, General Le Van Dung praised the Navy Service’s achievements and great efforts in protecting sea and island sovereignty over the past years. He also presented New Year gifts to the Service’s officers and soldiers.
